Rome's surroundings tours
A point of attraction for the inestimable wealth of its art treasure, Rome, with its millenary culture, has always overshadowed its Province. The Province of Rome steeped in millenary history too and crossed by the Tiber, the second longest river in Italy, and by its confluent the Aniene, is a combination of green lowlands crossed by volcanic hills in the craters of which beautiful lakes have formed. There are also chains of mountains, which are part of the Appenines, upon which we find ancient "borgos" which preserve lasting memories of age past, such as cyclopean walls, the ruins of ancient roman buildings, castles, fortresses, palaces, baroque abbeys and churches.
To guide the tourist in the discovery of the Province of Rome is the scope of the following tours we have studied, which may interest those who wish to spend a day far from the traffic of the city, in contact with nature or in search of ancient traditions.
